RECIPE PREPARATION Recipe for preparing papanas with sour cream and pellet:

Papanas preparation recipe

Make a composition of all ingredients, except a tablespoon of flour. Mix very well until you get a harder dough. In the remaining flour we put the fingertips with which we will take from the composition (because it is sticky and can not be molded), then we will make a roll that we put on the flour. Shake well from the excess and then glue, obtaining a cake. All the papanas are shaped first and then we start frying them. Heat more oil and add the papanasis until nicely browned. Serve with sour cream and jam of your choice.

How to make these papanasi in the pan & # 8211 baked papanasi recipe?

The composition for papanasi with yogurt

In a large pot I put the yogurt, salt and water and unwrapped them well with a fork. I put the pot on the fire and brought everything to a boil. Then I poured the semolina in the rain and stirred vigorously so that it did not form lumps. I added the vanilla and simmered for a few minutes, stirring constantly so that it doesn't stick. The gray boils quite quickly.

I pulled the pot aside and let it cool a bit. Because I worked with huge quantities, I poured half of my portion into a large plastic bowl. I broke eggs (5 pieces) & # 8211 in the picture you see more because it was double the amount. I also grated the lemon and orange peel and added the sugar.

Careful! I added sugar in addition to the recipe for papanas with yogurt because I am going to pour the composition, not to model it by hand. The sugar softens this paste and you will not be able to make balls out of it!

What nice flavors this composition of papanasi has !! A madness. I preheated the oven to 200 C with ventilation (high stage for gas ones). I laid the trays with baking paper and poured the composition. On top I distributed a few pieces of butter and sprinkled powdered sugar. It will form a caramelized crust.

Papanasi with a mixture of cheese and breadcrumbs

What could be better for the dessert portion than the famous ones papanasi with a mixture of cheese and breadcrumbs?

[Papanas are a kind of dessert made from sweet cottage cheese, eggs, flour, semolina, breadcrumbs and sugar. They are normally served with cream and jam or jam, but are also served sprinkled with sugar.
Papanas are a traditional dessert. It is possible that this word comes from the Latin papa, which means (among other things) "baby food"]. & # 8211 by Wikipedia.
Whenever I make desserts with cheese (pies, spaghetti, croissants or cakes), I like to combine cottage cheese
fresh with salted cheese, especially with telemea. The taste is particularly sweet + salty, but not overly salty.
Combine about one part salted cheese with two or three parts fresh cheese.
I did the same for these papanasi and they came out special compared to another time when I prepared them only with fresh cow's cheese.

And from the category of traditional cheese recipes, I also recommend it Dobrogean pie recipe.

Be careful not to get sick, it would be a shame. I don't make the recipe because I don't get it, so I better eat from those who know how.

but how are boiled papanas made? I can't eat fries, that's why I ask you

Adriana, I apologize for the delay in coming up with my answer. Looks like I missed your comment at the time. I've never made boiled papanasi, but, as far as I know, they are made the same way. Boil them for about five minutes in boiling water (in which you put a little salt).

They came out extraordinary: x
At least on the outside.
Inside, it's like the dough is so unmade, but where I ate it was like it was. anyway, I removed what I didn't like.

hello, men! now I have papanasii in progress. a big failure. tb flour put enough to peel off my hands. so I just put that I got a lot more spoons than those mentioned by you. .: ((

Hi, Adina! I'm sorry to hear that, but I think I know what is explained by the failure. You probably fried the papanas in a little oil - I noticed the fluffiest papanas in the oil bath. The same applies to Emanuela.

Today I tried the papanasi recipe and they came out supeeeeeer good. I fried them in a lot of oil and they grew beautifully, they are crispy, excellent.
Thanks for the recipe!

With pleasure! I'm glad to see a message about well-bred papanasi :)

made papanasii, came out good.
congratulations for the blog, very interesting.

Thanks, Claudia! I hope that papanasii will be the first of the many recipes you will prepare by visiting my culinary blog.

Iooooi what "good" looks like.
I tried a few recipes over time from you and they came out great. I was very praised and although I only cook on weekends, family and friends come to me every week to eat three meals. loool.
So . I need so many recipes for k only from you I am inspired.
I liked the foret noir cake the most. I don't have them with cakes, and I don't have them with cakes either. but I tried this at a family event and it worked out for me.
Requests - you can put more recipes in the canning chapter, especially pickles and other preserves for the winter - because this year I want to try my talents in this part.
I am waiting for an answer a.s.a.p.
I am keeping my eyes on you . :)))) Hello!

Hmmm. for three dishes at the table, not only would I join your list of friends, but maybe I would even try to make room in my family: D
I just posted a recipe for salads, so you will have sources of inspiration all the time, but I can't promise you anything about canned food. I also tried a few two years ago and I was a bit overwhelmed, maybe because I don't have much room to store them :)

Canned for winter - zacusca, pickled eggplant or pickled ghebe are stored. IN THE BELLY. The rest to grandparents, parents and other relatives that take place.
Sure! We keep a place for you at the table, when you pass through Brasov. But I warn you. I only eat on weekends. in the rest of the week we are all hungry! :))))) From Monday to Friday we serve peanuts, sticks and coffee.

No problem, I lived for years with such a menu :))
But this issue with the storage is a bit problematic, I am very sorry that those who take place will eventually prefer to keep that place free and store the preservation in their own belly.

also today I tried this recipe for papanasi that didn't turn out so well. fluffy. I think I put too much flour and instead of baking soda I put baking powder. otherwise the taste is great. my husband liked them very much.

It was probably an accident, I don't think it influenced too much that you used baking powder instead of baking soda. Are you sure you fried papanas in an oil bath?

Papanasi with blueberry jam

Here is a special recipe sent by a friend of our site, Carmenica: Papanasi with blueberry jam.

Papanasi ingredients with blueberry jam

600 g of fresh cottage cheese
150 g sugar fine cough
250 g flour
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
200 g sour cream
blueberry jam
papanasii frying oil

Preparation Papanasi with blueberry jam
In a bowl, mix the cheese with the sugar and baking soda, add the eggs and vanilla, and finally the flour. In a slightly deeper pan, heat the oil and quickly start to form the papanas.
From the dough we form balls the size of a smaller orange. With the index finger we pass through the center of the ball, then we pass the ball through the flour. We enlarge the hole in the middle of the ball, also with our finger and we slightly flatten the obtained papanas. We also form small balls of dough, which we will place on top of the papanas.
Slowly reduce the heat under the pan and fry 2-3 papanas, fry them on both sides until they become bricks.
About 10 papanasi and 10 balls come out of the dough.
Over each papanas, pour a tablespoon of blueberry jam and a tablespoon of sour cream and place a ball on top.
